For over two decades, I worked in children’s social work, holding space for children and families going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. It taught me to truly listen, be compassionate, and to understand the importance of enabling resilience.

My own turning point came later in life, when my health during peri-menopause became a growing concern. But, it was when I suddenly began to oversee care arrangements for my mother that I was brought back to consider my own health in midlife.

Thinking of care for a loved one while quietly processing my own loss showed me how easy it is to keep giving while forgetting to truly look after yourself.

That season led me to retrain as a Life, Health & Wellness Coach and Living Nutrition Practitioner, working specifically with women in midlife who, like me, have spent years prioritising everyone else.

Today I support women through two paths: practical health and wellness coaching, and gentle, structured grief coaching for those learning to live alongside loss.

I also run workshops for organisations and community groups who want to bring real wellbeing conversations into the room.

My own life has taught me that keeping the culture - food, traditions, values, that connect us - while changing the habits that no longer serve you, is possible.

That belief is why I have written my first book which is – part memoir and part changes in lifestyle habits - brought about by the coaching experiences I personally went through and now share with others.
